Hokitika Winter Festival 2018

A variety of events in Hokitika during our winter months coordinated by volunteers from the Hokitika Lions Club. Proceeds donated towards the restoration of a 1913 Sunbeam-Rover ambulance used in France during World War 1 and subsequently by the local Keenan family in their Moving Picture business. The engine and part of the chassis can be viewed at the Westland Industrial Heritage Park, Industrial Road, Airport Complex, Hokitika. WHIPark@gmail.comChristmas in July

Carnegie Building Exhibition – 10 to 30 June 10am to 2pm A stunning collection of photographs from Alan Bell and others celebrating 110 years of the Carnegie Building and showing the work of Heritage Hokitika. The Carnegie Building, Gibson Quay, the Lighthouse and Cemetery Kiosk projects all feature.
